- Orthodontic treatment is an excellent investment in the overall dental, medical and psychological well being of children and adults. Financial considerations should not be a barrier in securing this important service.
- Dr. Gau provides comprehensive exams as well as second opinions at no charge. When you are ready to begin treatment, a records appointment will be scheduled to obtain the information to complete the diagnosis and treatment plan. This appointment includes diagnostic films, photographs and models of your teeth.
- After the diagnosis is finalized, and before the treatment is started, we will meet with you to discuss the proposed treatment plan, the cost and to discuss financial arrangements. Our Financial and Insurance Coordinators are extremely knowledgeable and helpful and look forward to assisting you to maximize both your insurance coverage and your flexible benefit reimbursement.
- We offer a variety of payment options, and promise to work with you to find a repayment option that meets both your treatment objectives and your budget.
- Financial arrangement options include:
Prepayment Savings: For payments made in full, via cash, check or credit card,
prior to the start of treatment, our office provides a 5% savings on the patient
portion only.
In House Payment Arrangements: With a requested 25% initial payment, new
or existing patients, with a satisfactory credit history, can pay the balance of their
treatment cost interest free* during their estimated treatment (up to 23 months).
No Initial Payment Plan (Orthodontic Fee Plan): With no initial down
payment, this plan provides for monthly payments up to 60 months. This
program allows almost all our patients an affordable way to complete the
orthodontic care they desire. Plus there’s no prepayment penalty. The application
process is fast and confidential.
* Late charges still apply on payments received late.
Insurance and you: Orthodontic Specialists, P.A. accepts most insurance plans
with the exception of some Managed Care Plans. Please advise our
Insurance Coordinator of your insurance so coverage can be verified and
estimated.
If you have orthodontic insurance we will submit claims on your behalf
to your insurance carrier. It is important to remember that, as an
orthodontic office, we can only submit claims on your behalf. Your
orthodontic insurance is a contract between you and your
insurance company. Orthodontic Specialists, P.A. has no control over
benefits or payments.
We will help you estimate the portion of your treatment that is covered by
insurance. However, insurance companies vary greatly in deductible
amounts as well as in coverage benefits. We strongly recommend that you
become completely familiar with all aspects of your orthodontic insurance
to help us with the insurance estimate. This is to our mutual benefit, as
patients are ultimately responsible for the balance of services that are not
covered by insurance.
