To make this possible, keep a toothbrush and toothpaste with you.

-Floss at least once a day: Flossing is also important because it removes the plaque, food particles and other harmful substances from your teeth and braces. It can also help you avoid embarrassing smile moments. So, make sure to floss at least once a day. If you can floss more, do it. You can make flossing easier by using waxed floss, floss threaders or a water flosser.

-Attend your dental checkups: Your dental checkups are also vital, especially because the cleaning involved removes the plaque and tartar from your teeth, gums and appliance and helps you avoid major dental issues, like tooth decay and gum disease. So, make sure to attend your checkups every six months.
