My sons teeth are straight, mission accomplished. I did get charged for a missed appointment due to Covid. They did threaten me in front of my child to leave his braces on if I didn’t have it paid. I paid his whole bill in cash before services were rendered so I guess they must be hurting to behave in such a manner. I’m no lawyer but that might go against the Hippocratic oath. Do no harm unless $150 is involved.

I brought my daughter to Dr. Joe in 2017 for braces. Dr. Joe and staff took great care of her. Neal (business manager) was especially patient with my regarding my payments. He gave me an opportunity to pay off my balance an a less stressful way and I completed the payment process much faster than I expected. I had a severe under bite that needed to be corrected with reconstructive jaw surgery. Between 4 orthodontic offices around the Twin Cities, Orthodontic Specialists turned out to be the most affordable I could find. Dr. Joe put me through orthodontic treatment before and after my surgery in order to insure the desired outcome. I could not be more happy with the results! Dr. Joe and his team are incredibly personal and do phenomenal work on folks of all ages. I could not recommend them enough.

We had a very positive experience at Orthodontic Specialists for my 9 year old son. We liked Dr. Basil's conservative approach to fixing my sons underbite. He didn't recommend removing teeth - where some consultations at other Orthodontic offices did recommend removing teeth. They were also more affordable than some other Ortho offices in the area. I am an adult patient currently undergoing treatment. I chose Orthodontic Specialists over two other clinics. Dr. Basile asked what my main concerns were and while I held a mirror showed me how my teeth would be moved. His straight forward explanations combined with the lowest quote and a convenient location are what won me over. So far appointments have been easy to schedule and the staff is efficient and friendly. I am anticipating a great outcome!

When I was a kid braces were reserved for the unfortunate few. You know - those kids with the overlapping and criss-crossing fangs. My mouth wasn’t big enough for my teeth so my dentist pulled a few out and sent me on my way hoping the ones that were left would straighten themselves out. Well they never did, so at age 50 I decided to finally give them the nudge they should have gotten 40 years ago. Braces aren’t just for kids anymore. I found Dr. Joe to be a very talented and meticulous orthodontist. He doesn’t give up until those teeth are where they belong. His staff is friendly and committed to what they do. Today I have the perfect grin I wish I had all my life!

We have had a very positive experience with Orthodontic Specialists. Our daughter's teeth needed a lot of help, and we fully anticipated needing more than the usual two years of braces. However, in less than two years the braces came off, and our daughter's smile was absolutely gorgeous! I expected that after braces her teeth would be better than before, but I didn't expect that her teeth would cause just about everyone she meets to comment on how beautiful they are. She is thrilled, and so are we. We also appreciated how convenient our appointments were. We could always get an appointment just before or after school, and we were in and out of the office in no time. Dr. Gau and her staff were wonderful, and truly we couldn't have been happier. I have friends that have taken their kids to the U. for their orthodontia, and paid less. Those friends continually say what a hassle it is, and how they need to take half a day off work and pull their kids out of school every time they have an appointment. I also have friends who have gone to other local providers who charge more, and I don't believe they got any more for their money than we did (except possibly a fancier office!). Thank you Dr. Gau, Dawn and everyone at Orthodontic Specialists.

We have had a wonderful experience with Orthodontic Specialists. We moved from another provided who didn't have a flexible schedule. We have been very pleased with the service. The staff always seemed very interested in my son which made him feel really good about going to his visits. i also appreciate the extra special things. My son couldn't have been more excited about designing his retainer. Dr. Gau was great and my son's teeth look so awesome! He hasn't stopped smiling since he got his braces off!
